Galliford Try is a leading highways, environmental and construction group which contributes to meeting the demand for new schools and hospitals, alongside neighbourhood regeneration. Galliford Try’s commercial vehicle fleet  has many environmental and fuel management procedures in place including driver training and a robust vehicle renewal policy. This keeps their large commercial fleet of over 360 vehicles up to date, which also includes a number of zero emission light commercial vehicles. They joined ECO Stars to demonstrate and continue to improve their strong focus on environmental performance.

They are rolling out ECO driving courses across more business units to capitalise on its positive effect on fuel consumption. Fleet Manager, Alan Baker commented

“We are delighted with our achievement of a 4 Star rating and look forward to our continued work with ECO Stars to further reduce our environmental impact”.
