Setting Up ECO Stars

Barnsley Metropolitan Council is the lead authority and responsible for the direction and development of ECO Stars. The scheme is governed by a Steering Group which made up of local authorities and led by Ann Beddoes, ECO Stars Scheme Manager. The group meets on a bi-monthly basis to review progress and plan future activities including promoting the scheme to other UK local authorities.
